DESCRIPTION:Target Audience\nCourse made available by the Kansas Division of Emergency Management \nThe target audience for this course includes experienced senior emergency management personnel who may perform in a management capacity for major or complex incidents. This group includes individuals who are who may serve as the Incident Commanders\, as a member of a Unified Command\, or as members of the Command or General Staff\, or Multiagency Coordination Group/Emergency Operations Center (EOC) management for incidents that may use an Area Command \nThis course is limited to individuals who serve in Command or General Staff functions during complex incidents. Applications are subject to approval by their local Emergency Manager or Senior Official. \nPrerequisites\n\nIS-100 – Introduction to the Incident Command System (ICS)\nIS-200 – Basi Incident Command System for Initial Response\nIS-700 – An Introduction to the National Incident Management System (NIMS)\nIS-800 – An Introduction to the National Response Framework (NFR)\nGO200 – Immediate Incident Command System Course (classroom course)\n\nAll independent Study (IS) courses are available online (free of charge) at the FEMA Independent Study website. \nREQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION\nParticipants must upload all prerequisite certificates to their KS-TRAIN transcript before their registration is approved.
