- DRE Preliminary School: January 21-24, 2025, and
- DRE Main School: January 27-31, 2025
- Field Certification Training in Jacksonville, Florida

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION:
Completed application and all accompanying materials must be received no later than December 31, 2025. Preferred method of submission is e-mail.
Please confirm your application was received. Applicants will know of acceptance into the training no later than January 3, 2025.

LOCATION OF CLASSROOM TRAINING:
All classroom training will be conducted at the Kansas Highway Patrol Training Academy in Salina, KS.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR COURSE COMPLETION:
- The Kansas DRE Program will cover all costs associated with this training, except for meals, lodging, parking and baggage fees during the field certification training in Jacksonville, Florida. Meals and lodging will be provided during the classroom portion at the KHP academy dorms and cafeteria.
- All students who pass the classroom potion of the course will be required to accompany instructors to certification training in Jacksonville, Florida. This training will take place between the dates of March 17-22, 2025, as well as the Certification Knowledge Exam. The cost of airfare will be covered by the DRE Program. Meals, lodging and additional costs will be the responsibility of attendees’ agency. Students are required to stay in the designated hotel.
