Nonprofit Security Grant Program
This grant provides funding support for target hardening and other physical security enhancements and activities to nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of terrorist attack. The intent is to integrate nonprofit preparedness activities with broader state and local preparedness efforts.
Homeland Security Grant Program
The State Homeland Security Grant Program (SHSGP) distributes Department of Homeland Security appropriated funds. These funds support investments that build, sustain, and deliver core capabilities through planning, organization, equipment, training, and exercise activities. This funding also helps Kansas prepare, prevent, respond, mitigate, and recover from acts of terrorism or other catastrophic events.
