Continuing Education

This program will aid the officer in the inspection of commercial vehicles and their operators to assure a safer working environment, to reduce deaths and injuries from commercial vehicle crashes, and to increase public safety in the movement of consumer and industrial goods by highway.  Class size is limited to 12.  The instructors are from Troop I/MCSAP of the KHP.   Fees are waived if from a Kansas law enforcement agency.
Physical Requirements:  Must be able to perform movements to complete a proper CVSA inspection.  i.e., bend, stoop, kneel, lifting, etc.
NOTE: This class is open to LAW ENFORCEMENT agencies ONLY.  This class is NOT available for members of the general public, trucking industry or other private sectors.  Students MUST be attached to a law enforcement agency, with approval from their state point of contact to attend.
