In-Service Session 11: SFST Refresher – CPR/Gas Mask

Session 11 Schedule: SFST from 0800-1200 and CPR/Gas Mask 1300-1700
This training is a full 8-hour course.
The Standardized Field Sobriety Testing refresher consists of a review, recognition, and interpretation regarding evidence of DWI violations. Review of the administration and interpretation of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Review of how to describe DWI evidence clearly and convincingly in verbal testimony and written reports. The training includes an SFST proficiency and a written test.
Class will review first aid and CPR procedures and techniques using a CPR mannequin via information from the American Heart Association. The AHA Heartsaver video and AED video will be viewed via PowerDMS. Students completing the class will be recertified in first-aid/AED/CPR.
Physical Requirements: This is primarily a classroom setting course but some kneeling and standing may be asked.
Please bring your gas mask to be tested.
