Continuing Education

This 12-hour course is designed to certify newly appointed Field Training Officers in the following task: training vs. instruction; development in advanced training techniques; how to identify training needs; completing on the spot training; identify, develop, and complete remedial training; how to properly complete daily observation reports using standardized evaluation guidelines.

Physical Requirements: This course is a classroom-based training with no physical requirements.

Recruit Lunch: It is highly encouraged to attend the recruit luncheon after training on Wednesday, October 21, 2026.
