VIN Inspection Stations operated by the Kansas Highway Patrol are open Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-3:15 PM and closed on State holidays.  Inclement weather, such as major winter storms, may affect hours of operation.

The following high-volume locations operate on an appointment only basis.

  • Kansas City metro (Olathe, Lamar and I-70)
  • Wichita metro (Douglas and Kechi)
  • Lawrence
  • Leavenworth
  • Topeka
