A Designee VIN Inspection location is operated by a law enforcement partner and can perform regular (non-salvage) and antique vehicle inspections. Inspections performed at a designee location, such as a Sheriff’s office, will collect payment at the time of inspection. The form of payment accepted, and hours of operation are up to the designee.
Vehicles with a salvage title must be inspected by an inspection station operated by the Kansas Highway Patrol.
