Salvage VIN Inspection Locations
The locations shown below are the ONLY Inspection stations able to handle vehicles with a Salvage Title.
Inspection locations and weigh station times are subject to change.
Please Note: It is recommended that you call the inspection station prior to arrival. Salvage Inspections incur a cost of $25. VIN Inspection fees will be collected by the County Treasurer when your title is processed.
Vehicles required to be towed or hauled to the examination site must be able to be unloaded and reloaded by the person presenting the vehicle for inspection.

Kansas Highway Patrol Inspections will be held every Thursday 12pm-2pm. (Salvage and clean out of state inspections done at this time)
If you need an inspection on an out of state title (clean title inspection) completed at another time, please look for your local Sheriff's Office or Police Department on our website.
Montgomery County Sheriff's Office will also still conduct out of state (clean title inspections only) verification's Monday - Friday 8am-5pm.
